ETTINABHUJA TREK

       Before I start about Ettinabhuja, I thank all the members of the team “CLASSIC TREKKERS” for their outstanding support and enthusiasm during all the treks and in anticipation of the same to the future treks also..

       Ettinabhuja is a peak in Shishila near Dharmasthala is at an altitude of 1300m.Ettinabhuja the hill resembles the shoulder of a bull and puts forth many challenges before the trekkers.

      In my last trek to Amedhikallu my eyes popped out as soon as I saw the Ettinabhuja peak which was a magnificent sight and instantly I decided that this will be my next target.As this was instantaneous, our guide was humble enough to brief us about the Ettinabhuja.
     On a fine sunday morning I,Archana and Raghavendra sitting over a cup of coffee,reminded us of the Ettinabhuja,which was on top of our lists of peaks to be trekked.soon we selected 25th and 26th of December with a perfect plan.At last the team was finalized with me, Archana, Raghavendra, Anusha, Naveen, Vikram, Vinay, Dinesh and Vasuki.we were guided by Mr.Chennappa Gowda who takes entire responsibily of trekkers during the trek.Food  was arranged by Mrs.Usha U K in Dharmastala and Mr.Gopu Gokhele in shishila.

How to reach Shishila?
Shishila is approximately 36 kms far from Dharmastala and 20 kms far from Kokkada.The buses from Bangalore to Dharmastala pass Through kokkada.Either we neet to get down at kokkada and heir some vehicle(jeep) or bus from Dharmastala to shishila  starts at 7.30 am.
